Eggs, Hats and Awards: Everything Dino Run Lets You Unlock
Published · 1 min read
Eggs
Eggs are the currency. Some sit in the open, some are buried in bushes you have to duck through, some are on ledges only a high jump reaches. Each run's eggs are banked when the run ends, whether you survive or not.
Colours and hats
Spend eggs from the main menu on new colours for your dino and on hats. They are cosmetic, and that is the point: your dino, your look. Some hats cost enough to need several good runs.
Saved dinos
Create New Dino starts a fresh character with its own eggs and unlocks; Load Saved Game brings one back. Saves live in your browser on this device.
Awards
The Stats and Awards screen tracks things you would not think to count: metres run, critters eaten, meteors dodged, and the specific ways the wall has caught you. It is the closest thing the game has to achievements, and filling it is a reason to keep playing after the runs get long.
Game modes
Options and Game Modes holds the difficulty settings and a few variations on the standard run. Try a harder mode once you can reliably finish Medium.
